GEA, the absolute novelty in the coffee capsule sector, has been introduced in San Diego (California – United States), during the sixth edition of Innovation Takes Root – ITR, the world forum on advanced biomaterials organized by NatureWorks LLC, a leading company in the production of polymers of renewable origin.
Innovation Takes Root engages – in three days of meetings, workshops and plenary sessions -, global thought leaders, sustainability professionals, marketers, and business leaders together with scientists and engineers from the biomaterials value chain.
Tazio Zerbini, Operations Director of FLO, sponsor partner of the event, shared the experience of GEA, the biodegradable and compostable coffee capsule made of 100% pure PLA Ingeo, a technical biopolymer produced by Natureworks that gives the product excellent technical properties.
The ITR forum offers a complete overview on the study of products made with new high performance materials that, responding to growing consumer preferences for environmental sustainability, are the true actors of a correct circular economy.
