From May 6 to 8, 2026, for the first time at the new Rimini Expo Centre venue, Venditalia 2026  brought together the leading players in the international vending and automatic distribution industry. FLO also took part in the event, presenting its latest innovations for the vending sector: R-Hybrid SKY, Alpha and GEA.

The 2026 edition of Venditalia recorded record-breaking results, with double-digit growth in the first two days of the trade show and around 40% international visitors, confirming the event’s increasing global relevance and the strong dynamism of the vending market.

FLO’s main innovation was R-Hybrid SKY, an evolution of the R-Hybrid technology, developed to combine reduced use of virgin raw materials, the use of post-consumer recycled plastic and a design-for-recycling approach. A solution designed to integrate high performance, regulatory compliance and sustainability.

Alongside SKY, strong interest was also shown in Alpha, the first cup made from pure cellulose treated with Qwarzo®, a silica-based coating that enhances paper performance by ensuring high resistance and waterproofing, without the use of plastic. Alpha is also compliant with the SUPD (Single Use Plastic Directive), standing out as an innovative solution for the vending industry.

Finally, GEA is FLO’s range of compostable capsules developed in PLA and certified for industrial composting. The range is designed for the portioned coffee market, combining user convenience with attention to end-of-life management.

FLO’s participation in Venditalia 2026 confirms its ongoing commitment to research and development in innovative vending solutions, through materials and technologies designed to combine performance, reliability and responsiveness to the evolving international automatic distribution market.

From July, R-HYBRID SKY will be available, the new generation of vending cups designed to anticipate the standards of the PPWR regulation and reduce the environmental impact of single-use products. The product introduces a lightweight eco-design that reduces the use of virgin raw materials while maintaining performance, a monomaterial structure without fillers to support recycling processes, and the use of 20% food-grade post-consumer recycled polystyrene. Integrated into the RiVending circuit, the cup supports a real “cup-to-cup” model and remains compatible with existing vending machines without any operational modifications.
