FLO Group’s Alpha tableware line was a great success at MARCA 2026, taking center stage in the show-cooking events at the Il Buon Gusto Italiano network stand

On 14 and 15 January 2026, FLO Group will be at MARCA by BolognaFiere, at the stand of the Il Buon Gusto Italiano Business Network, with Alpha, the paper line with silica and without plastic, developed in collaboration with Qwarzo®.

Now in its third edition, the report highlights the results, people, and projects that foster transparency, responsibility, and shared value across Italy and Europe.

Milan, 27th October 2025 – Nextalia SGR S.p.A. ("Nextalia" or the "Company"), on behalf of the Nextalia Capitale Rilancio Fund, announces the completion of the Fund’s second investment in Flo S.p.A. (“Flo” or the “Group”), a leading Italian group specialized in food packaging, with strong European market positioning in specific segments and access to innovative and sustainable technologies.

At HOST 2025, FLO presented three major innovations combining sustainability, research, and design: Alpha, tableware in vegetal fiber and Qwarzo®, plastic free, compostable, and recyclable in paper; R-Hybrid SKY, cups made from post-consumer recycled polystyrene, already compliant with PPWR regulations and part of the RiVending circuit; GEA, 100% biobased compostable capsules with an oxygen barrier.

FLO Group is coming to Host Milano 2025 (Hall 18P – Stand D32 E31) with three Ho.Re.Ca. innovations: R-Hybrid SKY in recycled PS, Alpha in plastic-free Qwarzo® cardboard, and GEA capsules in PLA. Innovation and sustainability for professional hospitality.

R-Hybrid SKY, FLO’s new vending cup made from post-consumer recycled polystyrene, combines advanced eco-design, lightness, and recyclability, while delivering performance equivalent to traditional single-use cups. With recycled content more than double the EU 2030 target and already compliant with PPWR regulations, R-Hybrid SKY integrates into the RiVending system, allowing each cup to be turned into new raw material. It will be available from the end of 2025.

Vendtra 2025 confirmed the importance of sustainable innovation in the vending sector. The stand served as a meeting point for companies, clients, and partners, fostering discussions on innovation, design, and sustainability. The presentation of the Alpha line sparked a debate on future prospects, highlighting the importance of developing cutting-edge, environmentally responsible solutions.
