200 entrepreneurs attended the seventh edition of the “Stati Generali del Vending 2018” annual event organised by Confida – Italian Vending Association – in Rome at the headquarters of Confcommercio–Imprese per l’Italia, dedicated to companies of the Vending industry.
The event, introduced by Lino Enrico Stoppani, Deputy Vice-President of Confcommercio, was opened by CONFIDA President Massimo Trapletti and saw the participation of Massimo Garavaglia, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Anna Cinzia Bonfrisco, Senator, and Paolo Savini, Deputy Director of the Italian Inland Revenue Agency.
The topics covered during the day included “Disposable Plastic in Vending†in the light of the recent EU directive on the subject.
The debate saw the contributions of Michele Adt, Confida Director, Antonio Protopapa, Research and Development Manager of Corepla, and Erika Simonazzi, Marketing Manager of Flo SpA, who presented the RiVending project. This is a virtuous pilot that is currently being tested in the city of Parma with the aim of creating a closed cycle to recover and recycle vending cups and stirrers.
