PPWR and vending: the new European packaging regulation will be at the heart of Venditalia 2026

The new European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which will enter into force on 12 August 2026, represents a regulatory turning point expected to significantly impact the vending sector as well.

The implications of this change will be the focus of the conference “PPWR: the new European rules for packaging. What changes for vending?”, scheduled within Venditalia 2026.

Among the speakers will be Erika Simonazzi, Marketing Director of FLO Group, who will contribute to the discussion with a focus on the main innovations introduced by the regulation and their concrete impact on companies in the sector.

    The future of vending arrives in July 2026 with R-HYBRID SKY

    From July, R-HYBRID SKY will be available, the new generation of vending cups designed to anticipate the standards of the PPWR regulation and reduce the environmental impact of single-use products. The product introduces a lightweight eco-design that reduces the use of virgin raw materials while maintaining performance, a monomaterial structure without fillers to support recycling processes, and the use of 20% food-grade post-consumer recycled polystyrene.
